Mirena Bordelieva, CFA

Investment Manager

Mirena Bordelieva has over 12 years of experience across investment management, transaction advisory and financial analysis.

Prior to joining INVENIO Partners, she spent five years as an Investment Manager at E3 Holding, a Frankfurt-based long-term financial investor with a focus on SMEs predominantly in German-speaking Europe, across industrial manufacturing, food and IT services. In this role, Mirena was responsible for developing and executing investment and add-on strategies, sourcing, evaluating, and selecting acquisition targets, managing the M&A process, including taking an active in negotiating SPAs and structuring acquisition financing agreements. Post-closing, Mirena developed value-creation initiatives and supported the portfolio companies in their execution.

Before moving into investment management, Mirena spent seven years at EY, starting in the audit department and progressing to Manager in Transaction Advisory Services, where she led small teams performing financial due diligence on mid- and large-cap M&A transactions for financial investors.

Mirena holds a master’s degree in finance and Monetary Policy from Goethe University Frankfurt and a bachelor’s degree in international economics and business from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia. She is a CFA charterholder.
